VIRGINIA BASE CAMP ---
Aslan Adventures Inc. Virginia base camp is located on the historic and beautiful Bull Pasture River in the Bull Pasture Valley of Highland County Virginia - 10 miles South of McDowell, Virginia on Route 678.
From the NORTH and EAST and SOUTH: From Interstate 81 @ Staunton, Virginia take US Hwy. 250 West approximately 34 miles to McDowell, Virginia - turn Left onto Route 678 and follow it South for about 10 miles till you see the Aslan Adventures Inc. "BODY SPIRIT COMMUNITY" sign on the left side of the road - pull in and give your guides a big hug!
From the NORTHWEST: From Interstate 79 @ Weston, West Virginia take US Hwy. 33 East to Elkins, WV. Then turn Right onto US Hwy. 250 South and stay on it all the way to McDowell, Virginia. In McDowell turn Right onto Route 678, go about 10 miles and look for the Aslan Adventures Inc. "BODY SPIRIT COMMUNITY" sign on the Left side of the road. Pull in and give your guides a big hug!
From the SOUTHWEST: From Interstate 77 @ Beckley, West Virginia take Interstate 64 East to Covington, Virginia. Exit onto US Hwy. 220 and head North. Approximately 3 or 4 miles North of Warm Springs, Virginia turn Right onto Route 614 (keep your eyes peeled for this turn off!). This is a back woods road that is curvy, be careful. Stay on Route 614 to Burnsville (stop sign) and turn Left onto Route 609. Take Route 609 till it dead ends into Route 678 and turn Left - begin looking for the Aslan Adventures Inc. "BODY SPIRIT COMMUNITY" sign on the Right. Pull in and give your guides a big hug!
TENNESSEE BASE CAMP ---
Aslan Adventures Inc. Tennessee base camp is located in the beautiful woodland setting of the primitive campground at Savage Gulf State Park North Station.
From Nashville: Take Interstate 24 East towards Chattanooga, drive about 80 miles, exit at Pelham Hwy. 50, drive East 16 miles to Altamont, turn Left onto Hwy. 56, drive 5.4 miles to Beersheeba Springs where you should start looking for the signs for Stone Door - Savage Gulf State Park, follow the signs, your Aslan staff will meet you at the very back of the parking lot - jump out and give them a hug!
From Knoxville: Take Interstate 75 South to Chattanooga, exit onto Interstate 24 West towards Nashville, drive approximately 47 miles to the top of Monteagle (big mountain the Interstate goes over), take the first Monteagle exit and turn right, drive about half a mile and turn right onto Hwy. 41, drive about 6.5 miles to stop light in Tracy City, turn left at stop light onto Hwy. 56, drive about 20.4 miles to Beersheba Springs where you should start looking for the signs for Stone Door - Savage Gulf State Park, follow the signs, your Aslan staff will meet you at the very back of the parking lot - jump out and give them a hug!
